As our years of experience have accrued, the worlds of accounting and tax services have evolved. Our commitment to each client's success in every generation continues to be paramount.

For more than 75 years, we have been one of the leading accounting firms in north central and northeast Kansas. In 1946, original founder Dale S. Van Valkenburgh established what is now known as Manhattan's most enduring accounting firm: Sink Gordon Accountants & Advisors LLP. Longtime managing partner Roger A. Sink joined the firm full time in 1958 and provided strength and longevity for many decades. Partner James L. Gordon joined the firm in 1980 and serves as both a leader in the company and trusted advisor to clients. History proves that unpredictable markets and an ever-changing world are constant. Over the past 75 years, SGA has expanded to provide accounting services ranging from bookkeeping to estate planning to tax preparation, all tailored to meet each client's individual needs in any market.

Our accountants and CPAs combine traditional skills with the latest technologies and strategies to serve our clients. Growing from a few staff in 1946 to over 60 highly respected employees, we are here to help you leverage the knowledge that comes from decades of experience. We help individuals, families, businesses, nonprofits, and government with an array of accounting and financial services.

Our headquarters is located in downtown Manhattan, and we have offices in Clay Center, Waterville, and Marysville to better serve the needs of northeast Kansas.
