Review SOWs to understand billing

Collections - Controller oversight
State sales & use tax - Controller
Annual General Liability Insurance application renewal - Controller oversight
Monthly accounting close - Controller
Quickbooks Online (“QB”) - Controller
Financial reporting - Controller
Follow up with project leads on start time/end time and when Zyston can invoice for each engagement - Controller
Maintain accounting schedules - Controller
Invoice Schedule - Controller oversight
Bank liaison Controller
Borrowing base reporting package - Controller
American Express account management - Controller oversight
Due Diligence for capital raises, annual financial reviews, bank audits - Controller
Franchise tax
Payroll entry / review / approval through PEO – HR Director Inputs / Controller double checks
Commission calucations / reporting - Controller
Employee Expense reimbursement - Controller
Build connectivity between CRM, Accounting software, billing software, and other software to make accounting close as efficient as possible
Utilize existing tool or help find a tool to automate / reduce margin of error regarding commission calculations
FP&A support / assistance with CFO
Board package prep with CFO
Private Equity monthly reporting assistance with CFO
Support margin analysis / reporting needs with CFO
Opportunity to advance for VP - Finance in 2-4 years
Requirements
REQUIRED:
Big 4 or top 25 accounting firm experience (i.e. Audit, TAS, consulting, tax)
Active CPA
Private Equity owned SaaS Portfolio Company Controller experience
Located in or near city of Dallas. Hybrid role. Required in office Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week.
Preferred but not required:
Experience implementing software / tools to improve efficiency of back office processes, accounting close, etc.
Experience with Quickbooks online
