The Vice President of Asset Management at MEI plays a crucial role in Madison's growth and profitability by overseeing all Asset Management and Operations functions. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this position is responsible for ensuring safety, operational excellence, and strong customer relations, directly impacting the company's bottom line. The Vice President will lead initiatives to increase revenue and reduce costs across MEI’s diverse and expanding portfolio. Most importantly, this role requires overseeing a multibillion-dollar P&L and building out the operating company to manage an increasingly diverse range of technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Drive results and growth with a sense of urgency internally and externally to ensure assets are performing at or above expectations.
Ability to build, develop, and lead a dynamic team to increase and maintain safety and operational efficiency across multiple asset classes.
Drive the active oversight of assets ensuring operating and financial performance is maximized, and targeted investments returns are achieved.
Create strategies that will enable scalability (# of assets) while maintaining quality.
Manage internal and external teams to establish standards and a cadence for communications and reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence.
Responsible for developing, managing, and forecasting P&L statements accurately and timely.
Foster and maintain a vision for continual improvement and application of cutting-edge technologies and digital applications.
Initiate planning for short term and long-term capital needs, considering the financial performance, reserves, and long-term plans for each asset class.
Measure and monitor asset performance against benchmarks including client objectives, pro-forma metrics, budget, and market comparability.
Manage a team to monitor trends (including Asset Management field personnel) to determine new methods, processes, software, and ideas that will improve project performance and efficiency.
Negotiate and manage supplier relationships and 3rd Party Service Providers nationally.
Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to provide necessary information and documentation in support of accounting and audit activities.
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field from an accredited university. Advanced degree while not required, is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a senior leadership role within the renewable energy, manufacturer, or construction industry; demonstrating a successful track record in operations and service.
Proven expertise in service, and cross-functional team leadership with proven results.
Comprehensive understanding and practical knowledge of service, warranty administration, tracking, team leadership and process improvement
Proficiency in tacking field service work, electrical acumen and volume-based management and decision-making capabilities.
Experience managing operations and maintenance teams nationally
Preferred experience in electrical related fields, manufacturing and/or related fields.
