This is your chance for an exciting career that will grow with you for years to come. From exploring your interests to taking ownership of your future, you'll find new ways to build bigger opportunities for yourself.
Overview
The Developmental Leadership Program is a production operations role designed to cultivate the steelmaking understanding and leadership skills necessary for a successful career in operations leadership. Through a series of rotations across various departments and divisions, participants will gain valuable insight into our operations and culture while developing their leadership skills. Participants will be exposed to all facets of the business, from the scrap that makes steel to the commercial team connecting customers to the products they need.
Program participants will work closely with a department manager, be paired with a mentor, receive coaching from various leaders, and learn from the team. The length of the program varies for each individual and can last from 11 to 22 months, but can be modified depending on candidate’s experience, progress, changes to the program and/or resource needs within Nucor. Participants will have an established home division and a 4-month rotation at another division during the program. Relocation at the end of the program will be required.
