Description
The City of New Richmond is accepting applications for two Seasonal Electric Workers for the summer. Duties will include assisting Journeyman Lineworkers and Apprentice Lineworkers in constructing and maintaining electric infrastructure. Assisting with installation of new customer services, new construction, line clearance and tree trimming.Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a high school degree or equivalent. Completion of the 9-month Electrical Distribution Program and possession of a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds a few times a day.
This is a 500-hour limited term position working during the summer. Hourly wage is $28.00 per hour.
