Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for the operation of Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) equipment (Ross in-packer)
- Perform daily set-up tasks and the related required adjustments to the equipment in accordance to product specifications and processing schedule
- Learn to operate other processing equipment as needed (stuffers, extruders, case packer, among others)
- Anticipate product changes and requirements in a timely manner, minimizing downtime (such as ensuring film and labeling changes)
- Conduct and document required verifications to ensure proper equipment performance, such as gas content and dome checks at required intervals
- Responsible for equipment tear-down and / or sanitation of specific machine parts when required
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to read/write/speak English
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Cargill experience
- Work history in the past 12 months
- Ability to work with a variety of hand tools
