Share your welding expertise and help train the next generation of skilled maritime welders. The Calhoon MEBA Engineering School (CMES) is seeking an experienced welding professional to join its Marine Engineering Faculty as a full-time Welding Instructor, providing classroom instruction and hands-on training.
CMES serves MEBA and commercial maritime professionals in both deck and engine departments. Its courses help mariners upgrade licenses, obtain additional or crossover endorsements, meet STCW training and assessment requirements, and fulfill specific requirements for MEBA-contracted companies and government vessels. Operating under a DNV quality standards system, CMES delivers current, relevant, hands-on maritime training.
Reporting to the Director of Academic Services, the Welding Instructor will oversee welding programs and laboratories, develop and maintain welding and related industrial arts curricula, and provide practical instruction that prepares mariners for the demands of the maritime industry.
