Assembler I
Assembler I perform tasks that are necessary to the production process. Under direct supervision, performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes while keeping safety and quality top priority
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.
- Comprehend and follow detailed verbal or written instructions, as well as diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Be a team player who is willing to work with those in their assigned lines or groups.
- Requires use of a few simple hand tools.
- Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience and Skill Required
- High school diploma or equivalent and less than one year of experience.
- Use tools to make or repair parts and products.
- Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions such as standard work.
- Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
- Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
- Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
- Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
- Previous manufacturing assembler experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand continuously for up to 10 hours per day.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
